Privacy policy
This page explains what yippify.com collects, why, who else handles it, and how long we keep it. The short version: we collect what you send us through the contact form, plus basic analytics. We don’t sell personal information or use it for advertising.
What we collect
Yippify LLC runs this site. When you send a message through the contact form, we receive:
- your name and email address
- your company name, if you give it
- the kind of help you chose and your message
- a few technical details about the form itself: the page you sent it from, the page on our site you came from, how long the form was open, and a random ID that stops a message from being sent twice
To slow down spam, our form service briefly keeps a scrambled (salted and hashed) version of your IP address in memory. It is not written to disk or logged, and we can’t turn it back into your address. The service never logs what you type.
Please leave passwords, account numbers and other sensitive details out of your message.
Analytics and cookies
We use Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages help people. It records the pages you view, which of our contact links you click, that a contact message was sent (never what it said or who sent it), and how quickly pages load. Google Analytics sets first-party cookies whose names start with _ga.
We keep Google’s advertising features, Google signals and ad personalization turned off, and we don’t use any other trackers, advertising pixels or session recording.
If you’re in the European Economic Area, the UK or Switzerland, analytics stays off until you choose “Allow analytics”. We can only guess your location from your device’s time zone, so Google’s own location check also keeps analytics cookies off in those countries until you agree. Anyone can change their choice with “Cookie choices” at the bottom of every page.
The site’s own code doesn’t set any other cookies. Your analytics choice is saved in your browser’s local storage so we don’t ask again.
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal, we don’t load Google Analytics at all, and no analytics cookies are set. No other part of the site tracks you across other websites.
How we use it
We use what you send through the form only to reply to you and to talk about the work you asked about. We use analytics only to understand and improve the site. We don’t sell or rent personal information, share it for advertising, or add you to a mailing list.
Who else handles it
A few service providers process data for us, under their own terms:
- Amazon Web Services hosts the site and runs the contact form, which delivers your message by email (Amazon SES) from the United States.
- Google Workspace is where we receive and answer email, including your message.
- Google Analytics provides the analytics described above.
- Cloudflare delivers the site and protects it from attacks, so it handles the technical details of every request, such as your IP address.
These providers may process data in the United States and other countries. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep contact messages for up to 24 months after our last exchange, unless they become part of a project we work on together, in which case they’re kept with that project’s records. Google Analytics keeps event data for 14 months.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. To do that, use our contact form. Depending on where you live, you may have other rights under local law, such as objecting to how we use your information or complaining to your data protection authority. We won’t treat you differently for asking.
Security
The site is served only over HTTPS. It uses a strict content security policy, and the contact form accepts submissions only from this site. No method of sending or storing data is perfectly secure, but we keep what we collect small so there is less to protect.
Children
This site is for businesses and isn’t directed to children under 13. We don’t knowingly collect information from them.
Changes and contact
When this policy changes, we’ll update the date at the top of this page. If you have a question about privacy, use our contact form.
